DJ Cyrax, známý také jako DJ Michal Paski, se začal seznamovat s klubovou taneční hudbou koncem devadesátých let. Svou kariéru odstartoval roku 2000, kdy si poprvé zahrál v legendárním roudnickém klubu Šílená Kráva. V dalších letech působil především v severočeském regionu a později i v Praze. Jeho hlavním směrem byl drum & bass, ale občas hrál i techno a breakbeat. Z počátku své sety plnil spíše undergroundovými subžánry jako hard-step, industrial a neurofunk. Během dalších let se drum & bass poměrně rychle vyvíjel a Cyrax si brzy oblíbil nové producenty jako byli Paul B, Stratus a duo Kemal & Rob Data, zastupující velmi progresivní odnože d'n'b jako je anthem, trance-step a cyberfunk. V tomto období působil po několik let jako rezidentní DJ v litoměřickém klubu Klacxon. Spolu se svými kolegy založil dnes nejpopulárnější informační web Drumandbass.cz, věnovaný právě české d'n'b scéně.
Okolo roku 2005, mírně unavený zlomenými beaty zařadil do svého repertoáru i další taneční styly jako je psychedelický trance a house. Od roku 2006 je členem skupiny Zero Point, která se věnuje organizování psytrancových akcí. Cyrax byl také pravidelným hostem akcí BioCross v pražském klubu Cross, kde dlouhou dobu působil právě jako psytrancový DJ. V posledních letech jste měli možnost ho slyšet hlavně v pražských klubech jako je Roxy, Cross nebo Matrix. Nyní se po několika letech opět věnuje i vlastní tvorbě, a v posledních dvou letech ho můžete slyšet velmi často i na houseových akcích, kde nejvíce prosazuje electro a progressive.
Jeho sety, ať už se jedná o jakýkoli druh taneční hudby, jsou vždy velmi energické s výraznými nástupy a prvky electra nebo psychedelic zvuku. DJ Cyrax si obvykle své publikum velmi rychle získá a zaplní tak celý parket. Vždy dokáže překvapit něčím, co jen tak někde neuslyšíte a spojením několika různých subžánrů ve vás zanechá jedinečný a nezapomenutelný zážitek.

DJ Cyrax, also known as DJ Michael Paski, started familiarizing himself with club dance music at the end of the '90s. He began his career in 2000, when he first played out in a legendary club of his hometown called “Silena krava” (The Mad Cow). In the following years he was dj'ing predominantly in the North Bohemia region and later in Prague. His domain was drum & bass, but he would even play techno and breakbeat from time to time. At the beginning he would fill his sets with rather underground subgenres like hard-step, industrial or neurofunk. During the following years drum & bass was developing quite fast and Cyrax soon grew fond of new producers like Paul B, Stratus or duo Kemal & Rob Data, representing very progressive subgenres of d'n'b like anthem, trance-step or cyberfunk. At the time he was performing as a resident DJ in club Klacxon in the town Litomerice. He was also one of the founding members of the extremely popular information web dedicated to the d'n'b scene, Drumandbass.cz.
Around 2005, slightly tired of “broken beats”, Cyrax included new music genres in his repertoire - psychedelic trance and house. Since 2006 he has been a member of the group Zero Point that organizes psytrance parties. As a psytrance DJ, Cyrax became a regular guest to parties BioCross in the Prague Cross Club. Recently he has been performing predominantly in such Prague clubs as Roxy, Cross or Matrix. In addition, over the last two years he has often been dj'ing at house parties, where he has pushed through electronic and progressive sounds. Nowadays, after a break of several years, he is creating his own music again.
His sets, as far as any music style is concerned, are always extremely energetic with components of electro and psychedelic sounds. DJ Cyrax usually wins over a crowd very quickly and fills up the dance floor. He can always come with something new to surprise you and the way he connects various subgenres leaves an unforgettable experience.
