DJ Cejn, vlastnim jménem Mirek Jelínek se narodil 12.12.1978. Již od mala měl k hudbě velice blízko a bavila ho. Avšak taneční elektronickou hudbu a to house, slyšel poprvé kolem roku 1994, a po dosavadní všehochuti (rap, disco, punk, rock, grunge atd.) ho velmi zaujala, ale nebyla možnost se k ní veřejně dostat v malém 5tis. městě, jako je Zruč n. Sázavou, kde vyrůstal.
V roce 1997 se poprvé dostal na velký Techno Open-Air Svojšice, tou dobou ještě dvoudenní. To ho uchvátilo a heslo „Techno Je Všechno“, přijal za vlastní (klubové techno). V roce 2004 si pořídil gramofony, nakoupil první desky a začal zkoušet hrát. Ve Zručském legendárním klubu Pod Zámkem a jeho katakombách se pořádaly významné párty té doby. V Praze měl pravidelnou noc v XT3. Zahrál v CZ Beatu, Styxu a na různých dalšich místech v Praze.
Psychedelickou hudbu slyšel prvně na GOA párty v roce 2001 a to na Štvanici, kde
vystupovali Parasence Live. Přesto byl stále ovlivněn technem. Po roce 2005 ho však
přestávalo uspokojovat. Alternativa se vyskytla.....
Psytrance a Goa začal poslouchat v roce 2007. Ke hraní mu pomohla DJane
Lolla. Našel si svůj vlastní směr a to se snaží předvádět i za mix pultem. Má rád
všechny podoby psytrance, „naštěstí" jak on říká nemá totiž rád
nekompromisní stylovou vyhraněnost! Proto hraje od progressive až po dark a vše se
mu líbí! S vlastní produkcí nepočítá, alespoň prozatím. Snaží se to vynahradit projevem při hraní, který je velmi osobitý a upřímný. Věta z Boom festivalu, který navštívil ,,We Are One We Are All" je tomu důkazem.

DJ Cejn, whose real name is Mirek Jelínek, was born on 12 December 1978. He has been into music since he was a child. His first contact with electronic dance music came sometime around 1994 and after spending previous years listening to a variety of styles (rap, disco, punk, rock, grunge, etc.) it grabbed his attention immediately. Unfortunately, there were no real opportunities to listen and dance to it at parties as he was growing up an living in Zruč n. Sázavou, a small town of 5000 inhabitants.
In 1997, he went to his first big Techno Open-Air Svojšice, a two-day event at the time. He became hooked and took the motto „Techno is Everything“ as his own. In 2004, he bought his own turntables and vinyls and started learning to play. In a legendary club called Pod Zámkem in his home town, parties of great significance were organized at the time and he performed there as well. He also had a regular night at a Prague¨s XT3 club and played in CZ Beat, Styx and many other venues.
He heard psychedelic music for the first time at a GOA party in 2001 where Parasence performed live. Nonetheless, he was still influenced by techno. After 2005, though, he started to feel it did not satisfy him any more. And there was an alternative at hand …
He began to listen to psytrance and goa in 2007 and DJane Lolla encouraged him to start playing it. Since then, he has found his own direction and he tries to present it behind the mixing desk. He likes all varieties of psytrance and hates uncompromising style limitations. Therefore, he plays everything from progressive to dark and he loves it all! Even though he does not consider his own production (at least for the time being), he tries to make up for it by the distinctive and sincere way he performs. It can be expressed in a sentence from the Boom festival he has been to: „We Are One We Are All“.
